Here is an easy way to get a gold medal fast. Chose a Follow The Leader challenge and select gold. When the flag goes green, turn slightly left and then sharply right. If done correctly your car should be terminally damaged and if you do it before time runs out you should get the Passed message. Do this 2 more time on the same challenge but on a different track. This could take some time to obtain the terminal damage but it should be quicker then the legit way.
