It appears that there is no way to check which affinity a driver is from the select screen. Here is every driver from each affinity (listed by car number)
Chevy Drivers: 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 (both), 9 (Elliot), 10, 13, 14, 24, 27, 31, 40, 41, 42, 47, 48, 78, 88, 98.
Toyota Drivers: 11, 15, 17, 18, 20, 38, 54, 55, 83, 87, 93.
Ford Drivers: 2, 6, 9 (Ambrose), 12, 16 (both), 22, 34, 43, 95, 99.
Note: Your career car also counts for whichever affinity you select.

It must be glitched for me. I have won twice in a Ford and no achievement

Man, glitches are plentiful in this game I see.
