How to unlock the Perfect Weekend achievement in NASCAR 14 - Definitive Guide
***Update 7/13/14: I have been informed that this achievement is now unlocking properly with the latest patch.
Very self explanatory, you must qualify on the pole, lead the most laps, and win the race all at once. Easy to do during career or single player with AI difficulty set on Easy.

It's not unlocking for me. Do you have to do a practice session too or do more laps for the race?

I am writing new guides for this game going into 2020. It’s pretty outdated, but I figure it can’t hurt to help out.
Shortly after the games launch, Nascar made an update to it’s qualifying setup. It is no longer just based on lap time and now takes lap time and a pit stop into account. While that isn’t awful news, it does make out achievement buggy. Even if you qualify first, lead the most laps and win with the new update you will not net the achievement. I will outline the ways to unlock the achievement in 2020.
Method 1 (Online/Easier)- Although the achievement may be broken for single player, for whatever reason it still works perfectly in multiplayer. If you are looking to attain 100% completion you will need to dabble in multiplayer anyways.
1. From the Main Menu click on “Multiplayer”, then “Xbox Live” and “Private Race”.
2. Here it will have you choose a driver and track. The driver shouldn’t matter, but for the track I recommend Watkins Glen. I know Road Courses are scary, but on 2% Watkins Glen is only 1 Lap.
3. For event style make sure it is a full race weekend (Practice, Qualify & Race). Once you press continue you pop into a lobby where you can launch and race by yourself.
4. Once you’re in the infield garage, skip practice and go straight to qualifying.
5. Complete qualifying and the race. It should be 2 laps total and because you’re by yourself you will net these in a matter of minutes.
Method 2 (Offline/Easy)- This method is also trivial, but is more of a pain in my opinion. Helpful for anyone playing offline as well.
1. At the Xbox dashboard go into your “System Settings” and “Storage”.
2. Find “Nascar 14” and delete “Nascar ’14 Title Update”. Clearing your cache will not work
3. Load “Nascar 14” and decline the update (Will only work if auto-updates are off)
4. From the Main Menu click on “Single Player”, then “Race Now”
5. Here it will have you choose a driver and track. The driver shouldn’t matter, but for the track I recommend Watkins Glen. I know Road Courses are scary, but on 2% Watkins Glen is only 1 Lap.
6. For event style make sure it is a full race weekend (Practice, Qualify & Race) and you set the difficulty to 0%. Although you won’t be by yourself with this method, the other drivers should be turtles.
