Put on easy AI (0-5% difficulty) and qualify for every event as needed. After the first 26 races, the chase field is determined by the top ten in the standings and two wildcard drivers. The wildcards go to the two drivers sitting anywhere in 11th-19th with the most wins throughout regular season. If you are a wildcard driver, you start with 2,000 points. If you are a top ten driver, you start with 2,000 points + 3 bonus points for every win during the first 26 races. Therefore, it is always good to win a lot to make your job even easier :D
