1.) Drive for a five-star team and put it on easiest A.I difficulty if possible
2.) In career mode, the sooner you win the earlier races of the season like the Daytona 500, the greater the chances of winning the Cup title.
3.) There was an update a few months ago that let gamers sim most of the races which could guarantee you a spot in the playoffs with a few race wins sprinkled in.
4.) Win 4 of 10 playoff races, including a Round of 16, 12, 8 race, or maybe the final four race at Homestead to get you one step closer to the championship.
5.) Thank me later because I have grinded this achievement since the beginning of September to get to completing the game completely.

At the end of the regular season (26 races for the Cup series), the top sixteen drivers with the most wins or points will make the playoffs. Simply win as many races as possible during the regular season and you will make the playoffs without any issues. The four trophies for earning a spot in the playoffs will only pop in Career Mode, not Championship mode!
