Go to quest, then choose Amazing Planet.
By using the RT you can zoom into the globe. After doing so, scan the following locations to reveal the square puzzles.
+Western Russia, just north westerly from the Caspain sea
+South america, just on the northern coastline.
+South america, slightly south and central to the two quests in that region.
+Eastern Russia, under the text of Siberia
+Tasmania - South eastern tip of Australia
+Just on the coast of the Artic ice sheet
once found, simply click on them to save, and you are done

I can't get the Siberia text to come up but it's in a large landlocked water area, west of the med.
