I think there is a load of weird stipulations to these achievements. It doesn’t matter if you start the game on your account, you have to also be player one and start the game. I didn’t get the score achievement despite following the guide and the only thing that was different was that my profile was logged into controller two. To be safe, make sure you start the game on your profile with the controller registered to port one and answer at least one question with the second controller.
