This achievement can be a bit tedious.
It'll take you awhile to get used to the shooting and the timing to perfect your shots. There is no room for error in the 3 Point Challenge. So lets break it down..(queue the D Generation X Theme Song..)
You must score 23 baskets to nail this achievement. There are 5 balls each in 5 different shooting areas. 25 total balls. There are 35 points to snag up. 7 per row. You cannot miss more than 2 shots.
You have three different balls to shoot.
1. A Regular Basketball (1 Point)
2. The Gold Ball (Adds 5 seconds of time) 1Point
3. The Money Shot (Will count as 3)
The Balls line up as: 2 Regular, One Gold, One Regular, and One Money Shot
For example: If you miss 2 shots, start over.(IF its 2 Regular balls you'll be ok as long as you don't miss any other balls). If you miss one shot whether its the Gold Ball or Money Shot start over. The Gold Ball is vital when you get to the end of your last row and need the extra time to take your shots. You CANNOT miss ONE Money Shot. Thats 3 points lost and you might as well start over or just finish the game for XP.
Each time you finish a row you'll notice that your shooting accuracy will start to go faster. In my personal experience I found it easier when it goes faster so you don't overthink where to stop your shot.
There are 2 ways you can do this.
A. Play as Steph Curry and play naturally and if you screw up just finish the rounds to get XP and get him levelled up to Gold. It'll make draining 3's slightly easier to do.
B. If you miss one shot in the first or second row, restart. It'll make things harder cause you'll have to make every single shot after that which can be tough. If you passed the third section with only one missed shot just keep going. Your first 2 sections are key to completing this. Even if you miss your very first shot, just start over. Its not worth the hassle of trying to nail the next 24 shots without missing.
The last bit of advice I can give is to just take your time. Don't rush through, you'll have plenty of time to get your shots off. Take that extra second to get your shot off and be patient.
Also, be sure to set the rounds to 1 to make the XP grind go quicker

Good solution. I only restarted if I missed one in the first section. If you miss one in the second row, keep playing, you may still get it.
And if you don’t, you will still get XP to level up, getting to Level 50 will be your last cheevo anyway.
Don’t restart if you miss a gold ball, you can change settings to give you extra time, Time is not a factor here.

Pretty easy.
Did it with one of my starting players (Steve Nash with a 75 rating in 3 pointers).
Took me about 5 rounds for a perfect game.

This is one of the more challenging achievements. Each round consists of 5 racks of balls with 5 balls in each rack. Your 3rd ball gives you extra time and your 5th ball is worth 3 points. So a perfect round is 35 points. You can't miss any of the bonus balls and only 2 regular shots before you have to reset the round and try again. You make shots by getting your shot meter in the green otherwise its a miss. I suggest getting a legend like Steve Nash leveled up to gold and completing all of his 3-point challenges. Some tips:
- The first rack is the easiest so if you miss any of the shots from that rack, restart the round.
- In the options menu you can turn the time to 140 seconds max.
- Try not to miss the 3rd shots for extra time and if you miss a bonus ball immediately restart the round.
