These online achievements are quit glitchy. To play a ranked game you have to, from the play now menu select ranked game. You will then be matched up with an opponent(hopefully). The reason I say they are quit glitchy is because I had a record of 3-2 and didnt have any achievements, even though I had 3 wins in a row. Then on my 6th game that I won I got both the 3 in a row achievement and the 1 ranked win achievement. So if you do not get the achievement after your first win, dont stress out about it just keep playing.

UPDATE: No matter when you opponent leaves you still get credit for the win. But to get any of the online achievements you have to complete a whole game without your opponent quitting out.
