How to unlock the Ranked Match Trophy achievement in NBA 2K10 - Definitive Guide

You can get this achievement by winning a pick up. which will give you 2 achievements. you get 2 a pick up game by going to team up and it is the top option. or by simply playing a ranked match like it says

I was quite confused how to even start a ranked match. If your in the same boat

Go to quick match
In the middle you will see where it says ranked match, press up to go to ranked match

You may have problems starting it though, the online servers are not fully functioning at present, and you may get a message referring you to FAQ's. Just keep retrying and by november they should, hopefully, be working

It's late December now, I don't have the game so do they work fine now?

I agree. I have a record of 2-2 and no achievement. One guy quit out with 30 seconds left to play when i was up by 24 and the other one went all the way to the end of the game and before I was able to go back to the main menu it said lost connection to opponent, even thought the game was over and I got the win, no achievement. 2K really needs to get some dedicated servers or get better servers.
