How to unlock the Not Over Yet achievement in NBA 2K11 - Definitive Guide
Once in the game, turn the shot clock off. Get the ball to the other team somehow and, using the second controller, get them to successfully make a three-pointer. Then, just hold onto the ball for the rest of the quarter and let the clock expire. Do this through each quarter and once there's about two or two and a half seconds left in the fourth quarter, take a three point shot (a shot from behind the arc). If you're using a decent player, you'll most likely sink it and send the game into overtime.
If you want to go for the Buzzer Beater achievement, you can use the same tactic in overtime by giving the main controller the ball and holding onto the ball until there's only a couple of seconds left and take the game winning shot.
you can also do the NOT OVER YET and BUZZER BEATER cheevo in the Jordan challenge...I did them yesterday while playing the father day challenge against the Sonics.
I was behind by 2 Points with 22 secondes left to play in the fourth quarter. I saved the game and jumped right back, so now, you have the chance to go for NOT OVER YET or BUZZER BEATER achievement (just make sure, you hit / make a 3point buzzer beater) and if you miss - no prob, just load your saved game and try it again.
PS: Please don't give negative votes without a comment. That doesn't help me in any way.
Set it up for 7 minute quarters no matter the gametype so you can also set yourself up for:
In overtime you can make it even and win with another no time left shot for:
Personally I did this during an Association game to count towards the 30 games needed to be played in my conquest for:
So there you have it, 3 achievements and another association win out of one 28 minute game instead of playing through three different 20+ minute games.

You NEED to have the ball in your possession, and in your best 3-point shooter hands (unless you are using custom sliders). Shoot the ball from behind the 3-point line with almost one second left on the game clock in the fourth quarter or overtime (not the 24 second shot clock) and make the basket to send the game into overtime.
This must be done in a game with at least 5 minute quarters. Sliders can be adjusted and difficulty altered. Can be done with two controllers and rules adjusted (shot clock off). This will not unlock in My Player mode.
This may take a few attempts to get correct, but it is simple in reality. Use the same slider positioning and strategy that you had for Buzzer Beater, except make sure they have a 3 point lead with under 24 seconds left. If you are at a stage where they may be leading by 2 or 4, hit a 3 pointer and make sure you get them to hit a 2 pointer to bring the total up to a 3 point lead. Pass the ball to your clutch player to hit a three, jumping with approximately 1-2 seconds left on the clock. Go crazy when the achievement unlocks!
