How to unlock the Hamilton achievement in NBA 2K12 - Definitive Guide

You do not have to "play" the whole game, once it's started up and your opponent has the ball, they can just quit out of the match. It just takes a few minutes for the game to register as a win.

NOTE: if you are unfamiliar with how to match up with boosting partner in NBA2K games, it's pretty much the same every year.

1. Make sure you are not "friends" with your boosting opponent.
2. Give favorable review for your your boosting opponent.
3. Each of you change time zone on your console to a time zone that shows a time of somewhere between 4-5am.
4. Click on "quick game" at same time. It's not a "perfect science", you will not always match up. Any person that we got matched up with, gave negative review (I generally put "too good" as the negative review) to keep from matching up with that same person.

UPDATE: This makes it ALOT easier! If you have downloaded the DLC, you and your opponent can play the "Classic Quick Match" which counts as ranked games as well. There are not that many people playing it, I was helping a friend boost the wins, and we got matched up 10 times within about 15 tries, so took minimal time to do this.

I actually have heard that was the case, that were able to quit all 10 games, but I just honestly didn't want to try it, given how hard it is to match up with the person you want to play with

I boosted all online using the above method having the losing person quit immediately after tip-off. We made sure the person exiting always got the ball but that may not matter.

To update your stats simply hit the my stats button at the bottom of the online menu. Got the 1, 3, 5, 5 in a row, and 10 win achievements each time the my stats updated my record. Thumbs up to the solution.

If you are unsure of which Time Zone to pick this link will show you what time it is in every major city. This way you can see which one has the most off-hour time at that point and you can set your system for that zone. (You want to go with a zone that is in the early AM hours 2-6am is perfect. Here is that link...

BladeMDP pretty much explained it all, but i'll just expand on it.
Once you're in a game with your boosting partner, the quitter can immediately back out when the game starts. The person getting the wins has to go into the "My Stats" option in the online menu for the wins to register.

Ranked games need to be played to completion to be counted.

*If your opponent quits out you will still be credited with the win, however it will reset your win streak back to 1.*
