How to unlock the Mess Around and See What Happens achievement in NBA 2K14 - Definitive Guide
I uploaded pretty much an all-star roster. Its called Wests Wizards, You should be able to get most of the misc achievements in one game with this roster. Just play on easy and adjust the sliders and you should have no problem. I edited some of the players stats to make them 99 in some categories. Here's all the ones you can get in one game of quick play, the achievements will unlock as soon as you get the requirements so you don't have to wait till the end of the game.

Is this achievement obtainable in MyTeam? I did it with Magic Johnson (27 pts, 12 ast, 14 reb) and it didn't unlock.

In the video below I give you tips and a guide regarding sliders to get two achievements in one. I failed to mention but remember that you must finish the game. Just mess around and see what happens.
A "triple-double" is when a player scores "double" digits in 3 different categories.
Example. Lebron James gets 15 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. That is 3 different categories with 10 or more in each. The categories to go for that count are; Points, Rebounds (Offense and Defense combined) Assist, Steals, and Blocks.
I did this with the Heat in "MyGM" season on Pro 8 min quarters. I kept watching Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh stats, and just kept going for their stats. I kept them in the game the whole time. Lebron James ended up with the best opportunity by the start of the 4th quarter so I only focused on him for the rest of the game.
Here is what I would suggest if you are struggling to get this. Pick a good team (like the Heat, Bulls, Pacers, Thunder, Spurs...) and play against a bad team (Bucks, Jazz, Lakers, 76ers, etc). And also go into the pregame settings. Adjust sliders that will help, like difficulty to Rookie, quarter length 12 min, your teams shooting, steals, rebounds, speed, quickness, hustle, etc. And then put the opposing teams stats down. Whichever you see fit to help. If you want this easily, turn ALL your stats up, and ALL of the CPU stats down. Also, turn all fouls down. This will help keep the flow going in your favor and not let the computer stop you at all.
Then focus on getting just 2 or 3 players stats high. The easiest ones to get are points, assists (passing the ball to a player and then that players scores quickly) and then steals. Keep checking your teams stats throughout the game to see where you are at.
With the quarters at max time and all those sliders in your favor, this should be a breeze for you.
Good luck.
