How to unlock the Circus Shot achievement in NBA 2K15 - Definitive Guide

I did this while I was waiting for it to install. I just only took half court shots and eventually made one in the second quarter.

I did it in MyTeam, 6 minute quarters - no achievement.

I have no idea why, but most in game achievements dont pop with MyTeam. Whats the logic behind that? You cant cheat with sliders in MyTeam, but sliders in Quick Games are okay for achievements???? Way to go 2K...

I did it yesterday in my career with 6min quarters but I didn't get the achievement. :/

I did the circus shot second time in my career with 6min quarters and this time I got the achievement. I don't understand this game's achievement logic...

Made one in my third game, challenges mode of myTeam, got no achievement. Same thing happened with 2k14

I think it had to do with the server issues yesterday. Because I was suppose to get 7 achivements none of them pop

I used the Western Allstars and knocked out the KD and Curry achievements as well. Took a half court shot with Durant and made it with my first try! =)

You could also just boost your shooting stats to 100 in three pointers and then heave it. Far more likely to unlock it this way.

Why's it gotta be 6 minute quarters. Made a full court shot from under my hoop, banked right in, no achievement. Farthest shot in NBA history lol

Just keep taking half-court shots and you'll eventually make one. This trophy can only be done in a quick game. If you want this very easily you can lower the difficulty to Rookie and adjust the 3PT slider to 100.

This trophy requires you to make a shot behind the half-court line, meaning that your player must not cross the line even after he has release the ball, so you want to make sure you have enough space before you attempt the shot. This one is a luck-based trophy and even with the sliders all the way, it may take a few attempts and you can also use two controllers so that you can try with both teams.
