Complete the first season and then in the off season resign with the same team you were on before. As soon as the new season starts request a trade by going to MyCareer > Team Interest and selecting a team while you are on the mycareer hub where your player is sitting on a chair.

You don't have to resign from your team. It just has to be at the beginning of the season before the trade deadline. I started my second season and anytime I check my Team Interest there is a thing at the top that says "Trade Deadline in __ Days" you just have to request it before that.
Also question, I hope you're still monitoring this. Will the achievement pop as soon as I request a trade? I want to get this achievement but I like the team I am not right now and don't actually want the trade to go through.

I cant remember to be 100% sure but I think it pops as soon as you request it.
