so this obtainable? you are the only scanned player who has it. I thought it must be broken like "Ah memories"

Did u unlock this on your first and only career? Or did u have multiple career saves. Because I noticed when I made my new career I started at compensation level two but it hasn't moved.

for those who have unlocked this what season did you get this achievement on?

When I unlocked this it was on a second player, and I have multiple saves.
I unlocked the achievement in my first season for the character that I earned it with.

I'm having the same issue as are a couple other buddies. Now halfway into my second season,gone to every nike event and it hasn't even gone up to tier 2. Maybe ill try a second player and see

same issue ^^ finally get it to go?

i realize i was wearing nikes, dont know if it effects it or not. bleh im so sick of the glitchyness of this game

ive gone to every jordan event in almost 2 seasons and am still only tier 1

did u guys sim at all? Most games i played the first half then asked to sit to still earn vc

if u are drafted top 3 do u start at lvl 2 compensation?

I would say on the first guy I created, I played with him more legitimately and went to the second season and never actually made it to the commercial.

But on a couple of other characters I created for online play (going through the season on rookie for a large part grinding badges) I actually got the Sig shoe and commercial during the first year.

Of course putting up crazy numbers for quick badges gets you tons of fans during the game etc, so that may play a role in ow quickly you progress through the different levels.

I am on tier 3 right now and i played the first whole season. The second season i only went to jordan events and played the games before each event. It seems like i leveled up once per season. I am on my third season now and i have played basically all the games so far going to as many connections and events as possible to see if that makes it go faster. No luck so far. I have been playing on rookie btw.

bro after playing 1-2 games on HOF, my level skyrocketed to 4. you also must get a good grade. Worked for me!

What were your numbers? I am now in 2023 and have 10 mil fans have also played every game before the sponsor event (Jordan) and have been at level 2 since the first season.

I played the entire first season and simulated the second season and halfway through the third season I got the cutscene. Make sure to attend all events for your shoe deal as I did that and it helped me level up.

I'm almost 100% sure that those events for the compensation levels (dunk contest winner, double doubles, MVP, etc.) are just rewards. You basically only need to keep attending each event from your shoe sponsor to progress through the compensation levels. Each level basically gives you a higher reward for possibly completing those little challenges like winning the dunk contest. I do know they are not required though because I would have been required to win the MVP, and championship to get to start progressing (with NIKE), but I did not actually have to finish the season before I got the signature shoe option.

But I think in terms of doing this as fast as possible, the better you play and increase fans, the faster your shoe sponsor will put events in your calendar. If you attend those, each time you will be on your way to getting the shoe contract. I also do not believe you really miss out on anything if you miss a shoe sponsor event, but you will have to wait for them to give you that event again, thus it will take a bit longer.

I'm not 100% sure if obtaining a lot of 'fans' in-game will help speed the process, but highlight plays, good performances, and spending time with the 'NBA player' events will help you build fans.

*Edit - Yes, this is obtainable, but can be rather lengthy. The achievement is also miss-able if you do not choose the 'funny' commercial when you get the chance.

wtf... so i played one full game on HOF and then it gave me tier 2, i went to a jordan event one day later, it gave me tier 3... its like its playing catchup... I am now on year 3 with almost 7 mil fans. One more tier baby! lol

I heard that difficulty allowed it to unlock faster, idk what triggered it but i literally went from 1-3 in 2 days after a hof game

I just unlocked this achievement while still being level 1 with Nike in my first season. I got a connection opportunity with Tony Parker before a game with the Spurs on March 2nd. The connection ended up letting me create a signature shoe. Created the shoe and played my next game against the Spurs wearing the sig shoe. Immediately after the game a cutscene played with Bruce talking about making a shoe commecial. Got a message from Bruce after the cutscene asking what style of commercial I wanted and the achievement popped right after I selected funny.

At least this buggy game decided to be helpful for once.
