First of all, I believe that you will need to have played through MyCareer to the point where you have joined an NBA team and have access to a calendar to select events.
From the menu:
1. Select MyCareer
2. Press
to go to 2K Nav
3. Select "2K Pro-Am"
4. Select "Play as Walk-On"
Then just simply complete the game. The achievement should unlock after the game has finished. Note that this is an online game.

I tried once and the opposite team forfeited => no achievement. I wont try again.

Yup, this achievement sucks. People who play this mode are super competitive and complete fucking assholes that think they're playing for a real championship or some shit. Worst people on Earth play this mode.
