At the beginning of MyCareer after joining an NBA team you will go to your own court where you can access your phone etc... Just go to the court and wait for Denver to arrive. He will then offer you to play a 1on1

He asked me for 3pt game with him, not 1v1... After all he did nothing... so how to pop-up this achievent in other way?

Keep playing, through your career many people will randomly come to your court and ask you to play different games

How long do you have to wait for him to show up? I feel like I have waited forever. Just to clarify is this in the shoot around section of your court?

In my career mode, one of your teammates will come to you and offer you a one-on-one game. After the game, the trophy drops out.
