How to unlock the Inception achievement in NBA 2K19 - Definitive Guide

For clarification, you need to be a 91 overall to unlock the Blacktop and Play-Now Machine, so you need to grind for a while, then you need to get another player to play on the Play-Now machine with you.
It will unlock when you select your teams, so you can quit after the tip-off.

My friend is 80 overall and I am not able to invite him. Does his level matter? Not sure what is going on but I am 91 and cannot invite him.

I am pretty sure this achievement is very glitchy and hard to obtain, since it's been unlocked by only 1 registered user.
I've also tried it several times with my friend, but we could not got it, since there were no choice to set on the coach in MyCOURT and play videogame of NBA2k19 together. Simply no option given, unfortunatelly.

It’s not glitched. You have to be a 91 overall and get the arcade machine in your my court to get this achievement. It’s different than how you did it last year.

Hard? No. Time consuming? Yes. It just depends on how much you want to play and how quickly you can accumulate the xp for cap breakers.
