I was able to achieve this with a 6'3" Sharpshooting Facilitator point guard. Make sure to save some time by skipping the story and going directly to the NBA. I would recommend trying to move up in the rotation and get more minutes and changing the difficulty to Rookie because this achievement can be a bit complicated. When you are on defense, let your opponent dribble the ball down the court. Try to time it to when the ball is right next to your hand, then press 
to reach in and snatch the ball away. Do this 5 times and the achievement should pop immediately after.

You need to create a lockdown defender for this trophy and upgrade your steal attribute. On Pro you can try spamming square and should be able to pick up a few steals or you can try to jump in front of passes you think are coming to the person you are guarding with 
. The main badge you will want to upgrade is pick pocket, because it helps earn more steals and less fouls called against you. The secondary badge to upgrade is interceptor which will help with trying to intercept passes in the air. You need to set the quarter length to 12 minutes.
