AS OF 02 DEC 2020: Currently there is a locker code that unlocks a Shaquille O'Neal - Locker Codes are entered in the last MyTeam tab (Extras I think?). Head there and enter this code: BRYANT-TO-SHAQ. This will then gift you an 83 overall Shaq which can be used for the lone Signature challenge under the challenges menu. Simply put Shaq in your lineup and complete the challenge (make sure it's the one that specifically awards you a HOF badge - between now and the time you read this, there may be other challenges added...just a heads up). If I'm correct, the challenge itself is fairly straight forward - just don't start lobbing up three's or making silly plays. Always play smart because the AI can be really cheesy sometimes.
This is probably the easiest method to get a HOF badge without purchasing packs or grinding like mad. Get it while you can because the Locker Code expires on the 8th January 2021!

Challenge still available as of 14/12.

Im a noob on these games, when i was slightly behind in the 4th qtr i would let them score or leave open to take shots as i was so far ahead points wise and wanted possession back as quick as possible
Additionally, when you acquire the badge go to your lineup and select a player, gives you an option to upgrade badge.

It's too bad this hall of fame badge doesn't carry over from the Xbox one version as now I have to get a 2nd hall of fame badge to put on a different player now.

Hall Of Fame badges can be pulled from packs or rewarded from completing the Season Signature challenge. Once you receive one go to your collection and select apply badge, this will show you who is eligible to receive the upgrade. Now apply it to any player and the trophy will pop.
