How to unlock the Fashion Icon achievement in NBA 2K22 - Definitive Guide
This achievement is unlocked in MyCareer mode.
In order to get to Fashion level 10 you need to earn Fashion points. These are earned by:
Walking the fashion runway in the City (+10 fashion points for each move chosen on the runway)
Completing fashion quests that Ricky gives you in the apartment (+25 fashion points for changing your outfits often before NBA and park games or wearing clothing marked with the Flashy megaphone looking icon around the city), and
Talking to reporters like Andrew Torres in the City and in post game interviews about your fashion preferences.
If you are like me, you will probably find the fashion main quest line stops and you start wondering 'why has it been ages since anything happened?' The quests don't resume based on your number of games played or any other events. It's purely based on fashion points collected.
The later quests don't appear until you reach Fashion level 9, and the last quest doesn't appear until AFTER you reach Fashion level 10 and unlock the achievement, which made no sense to me.
I kept waiting for the final quest to appear, thinking 'it must be the final quest that gets you to max out Fashion level 10'.
Nope. Had to keep walking the fashion runway until I stopped being given fashion points for doing it for that day. Then come back about 24 hours later and do more runway walks to collect those Fashion points again.
Change your MyPlayer fashion runway animations as you earn them to add some variety for the grind. I thought the 'pulled hammy' and the 'Elaine' was pretty amusing, especially if you are a Seinfeld fan.
Over time the +10 and +25 Fashion points will add up and get you to the next level and unlock the next quest and eventually the achievement.
This is my first guide. Hope it helps.

Very nice thorough guide for your first time. Sometimes the quests ask for specific clothing like corporate or flashy so you may want to add those icons to the guide. It is a crazy, weird, long achievement. Thanks!

There are 3 main ways to getting fashion points once the fashion quests have stopped popping. The first way is to complete the daily quest given by either Ricky, Andrew & Mort.
These quests are -
- Change your outfit before playing a MyCareer games 3 times & a Park game 10 times (The most time consuming daily quest.)
- Interview with Andrew Torres in the City.
- Call upon Andrew Torres in a post game interview to promote Swags.
- Change into clothes with a free spirit icon and walk around the city. (Go to your affiliation store or the costume store next to Swags to find cheap free spirit clothing)
They all give 25 points daily.
Next do 5 fashion walks a day, that will give you 100 a day. (Once you do 5 it will stop giving you points.)
Other ways to get fashion points is to play NBA games and hope for a post game interview with Andrew Torres, he will hopefully ask you about music or fashion but its totally random and might not even ask you about either, when he does it earns you 70 - 100+ points in either category.
It's important to often change your players clothes before starting each NBA game otherwise you risk Andrew Torres calling you out in a post game interview for your lack of wardrobe choice. When he does you will lose 50+ points.
The fashion quest line continues after you pick a designer but they only trigger when you reach certain levels for example you will unlock the a part of the quest line once you reach level 8 but once you complete it the next part wont unlock until you reach level 9.
