I am a post player and get double teamed every time I get 16 points or more, so I just changed the time per quarter (done in the Options Menu between games) to 9 minutes (rather than 5) and got fifty that way. My brother used a three point shooter and because they don't double team you outside the three point line and most of your shots are catch and shoot, it is much easier to get 50 points that way.
