How to unlock the To Get Ready achievement in NBA 2K22 - Definitive Guide
A triple double is a combination of getting ten or more of three of the main stats in basketball (points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks). Easiest is to change the game length to 12 minute quarters to give more opportunity, but it can be done in 5 minute quarters with some luck. Some (but not all) of the most common ways to do this:
a) Points, Rebounds, Assists - take a big man (that can usually get ten points and ten rebounds) and then pass out of double teams (I normally get double teamed when I have 16+ points in the paint in a five minute game) to open three point shooters to get your assists. The other way is to get rebounds with a PG/SG/SF and then be able to get 10+ points and 10+ assists by casual play. Ex: 10+ points, 10+ rebounds, 10+ assists
b) Points, Assists, Steals - usually with a PG, get 10+ points and 10+ assists and then get lucky and get 10+ steals. Generally you will have a really high steal stat, HOF defensive badges and a defensive Takeover. Ex: 10+ points, 10+ assists, 10+ steals.
c) Points, Rebounds, Blocks - usually with a C/PF, get 10+ points and 10+ rebounds and then find a team where people take layups (the Spurs and Nuggets perhaps) to get blocks. As listed above, get a high Block and Vertical rate and then have HOF Intimidator, Rim Protector, etc. Ex: 10+ points, 10+ rebounds, 10+ assists.
All other combinations work too, (15 pts, 11 asts, 12 blocks), (21 points, 11 steals, 10 blocks), etc. but the above three would be the most common.

Something I noticed last year, in 2k21, is you can save and quit during a MyPlayer game. I took advantage of this. Every time I went for a block or a steal, if I did not get it (to risk not being fouled out) I would quit the game and load up the save to try again. My character was also as tall as you can make them and his wingspan was also the max setting.
