You must complete all Heart of a Dynasty quests in MyCareer (which is also tied to another achievement). The final game in this is against Austin Reeves and you learn about trash-talking and their quests. Then it's a waiting game for an opportunity.
I unlocked this in game 62 of my rookie season (playing only key games) against De'aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings. The tell for it being a trash-talk game is the little speech bubble that appears under the key game notifier. Note that I was largely simulating the season and it stopped and highlighted this trash-talking game as a key game opportunity.
You MUST speak to your manager in your team locker room before the game and it will trigger a conversation between you, your manager, and the team PR manager. They will give you options for how to deal with the trash-talk situation. Side with your manager and talk back to Fox. From there I simply had to win the game and outscore Fox by 10 points. If you struggle with this drop the difficulty to Rookie pre game.
