As with most other achievements for this game you can go into the options menu and then My NBA where you can adjust the likeliness of scoring from certain ranges or in certain styles. If you put all these to 100 you are almost guaranteed to score with every shot.
Then start a quick game with a quarter limit of 4+ minutes to ensure you have enough time in the first quarter, use 3 point shots and always make sure you are scoring with just one player.
I would advise you use a player like Iverson or Nash who have separate achievements that includes scoring the 25 points. So after the first quarter you have more achievements to work on.
Remember you won't get the achievement until you finish the game.
