All I did to get this achievement was play a game on Rookie with 10 minute quarters. I played the Western Conference All-Stars vs. the Oklahoma Thunder. Your players will easily shoot over 40 FG's in 40 minutes of basketball, and as long as you take it to the hoop throughout the game you will shoot 60%+.

Using the Western Conference versus the Memphis Grizzlies on a 7 minute game (Should be enough time). Use Kobe Bryant every play and use the 
to lose your defender, Once you do drive to the hoop for a dunk or press 
to shoot. You can also turn the play clock off so that once you reach 40 Attempts and have made 20 of them, you can run the clock out. If you are unable to get this on your own feel free to adjust the sliders in your favor.
