How to unlock the Clean Sheet achievement in NBA JAM - Definitive Guide
You can also get the cheevo FROM DOWNTOWN as well in a game like this or you can get BURNING & FINGER ROLL in a game like this.
With these settings, just keep a reasonable distance from the AI and as long as you keep moving, they won't challenge you. When I got this, I spent most of my time running up and down at the far end of the court and never had the AI come after me.
It's also very important that you not score very many points. If you get too large of a lead, the elastic AI (think Mario Kart) will kick in and your opponent WILL score. When I got this, my final score was 6-0 and the AI stayed dumb the entire time. I was playing as the Beastie Boys, but any team with a decent shooter and a decent rebounder (in case you miss) will work fine.
Getting this achievement in a classic game will also unlock "Double Up" and "Triple Up", and if you hit just a couple of threes like I did, you'll also get "From Downtown". That's 110 gamerscore in one quick game.
Quickest way is using the three controller method mentioned in "Finger Roll." Play either a Classic or Remix game and score once with Player 1's team to take the lead and victory for your team. Whichever team has the ball to start the quarter with needs to hold the ball and let time run out for each quarter. At the end of the game you will have earned Clean Sheet.
This one is much easier than it sounds (especially if you have three controllers). Use the Play Now method (set the 1st controller as the team you want to be and set the remaining two to the opposing team. This can still be done with only two controllers but you want to make sure that when the other controller's CPU gets the ball, you make him pass immediately). If you only have one controller, your best bet is to boost it online or using the fact that if you change settings from the character selection, you can take away the shot clock. As long as you walk up and down the very right side of the screen, the CPU will not shove you, just remember to score a few at the end of quarters. It seems that this one has to be done in 2v2 or remix 2v2.
