It has become apparent that the way that I did it doesn't work for, well, most people. This was from Bronco Musacha:

1. Get the other Achievements
2. Go to the dashboard - system settings - memory
3. Select NBA Live 08 and erase it entirely from memory (hence why you should finish everything else first, so you don't lose your progress)
4. Reload the game fresh, pick whatever favorite team you want
5. Go to roster management under My NBA Live. Go to trade players
6. Select Boston. Make trades with Cleveland for LeBron, LA Lakers for Kobe, San Antonio for Duncan, and Phoenix for Steve Nash. With Garnett, there's your starting 5.
7. Don't change ANYTHING else! Just go straight to Dynasty, start new Dynasty, pick Celtics.
8. Sim the preseason and season (you can make it go faster by moving User Intervention to NO - that didn't affect the Achievement for me). You should get it at the end of the season (before the playoffs).


OLD METHOD

Edit the stats of the team that you're going to be playing as to "99" across the board. MAKE SURE OF THIS!!! Then, save your roster. Saving the roster will help should you have other achievements to still complete since playing the Dynasty Mode will reset the roster's to default and you'll have to change all of the stats again.

Go into Dynasty Mode and click to play the mode with the team that you just bolstered with incredible stats and begin. Set the difficulty to whatever you would like (since you'll be simming most of the season away), turn injuries off, and set quarter times to 4-5 minutes.

Sim through the training and the scouting in the off-season and begin the regular season. Auto-sim until the end of the playing year by selecting the "Sim up to and including this day" and the season will start.

You'll get a lot of pop-ups along the way about training times (which you can set to auto), publicity things (which you can ALSO set to auto), and messages from the owner (which you can safely turn off). The most important thing to do is to watch out for teams trying to trade with you. This won't happen that often, but if you trade away one of your 99-stat characters for someone you haven't edited, you're going to be making more work for yourself. Just make sure that you decline any trade that pops-up.

When you get to the end, chances are pretty good that you'll have won all of or close to all of your games and the Playoffs will start. You can simulate every match in the Playoffs including the championship and you'll take home the trophy.

The next season will start and make sure that you re-sign all of your players for the next year. You don't have to look at trading or free agents, just re-sign all of your players from the season prior.

If you've done everything that I said, you'll get 3 achievements:
- "Best regular season record"
- "Dream Lineup in Dynasty"
- "Win a Dynasty championship"
