I set Joakim Noah's 3 pt ability to a 70 and his 3 pt likelihood to 0. He made about 4 each time. I set Kirk Hinrichs likelihood to 0 and ability maxed out. To easily win, shoot when you think it's WAYY too late for the shot to be decent. I scored about 10 pts each time.

I personally found that creating your own player works much better.

Just create the perfect player with all statistics boosted up to 99 (just to be absolutely certain) with the main priorities being
the 3PT and 3PT Likilihood statistics.

It also helps to make the player 7'6" as you can spot the leg 'twitch' which indicates the optimum time to release for the shot. Then make sure the created player joins a team roster.

At the same time reduce Dallas Mav's Stackhouse's 3PT to 60 and his 3PTL to 0. He's one of the weaker shooters in the competition.

He should average about 12-16 shots. Hopefully with your created player you'll be able to beat the score.

All of the above solutions are good. I used Steve Nash, disabled all other players(y button), played against one CPU opponent. Chose an opponent in low 60s. Hit achievement first try.
