A free throw is when the player hoots when he gets fouled and the other team is over the foul limit.
First make sure you are on Superstar difficulty. Then set the Quaters to 2 min. Make sure your winning in the last 2 minutes of the game, but make sure you keep the game within 10 points because if your winning by more then 10 the team wont foul you.
To shoot freethrows you hold down B and let go when the meter is in the green area. You need to make both of the free throws to get the achievement.

Just set the shooting foul meter all the way up, and play on superstar with 2 minute quarters. Take a jump shot in the fourth quarter, and you will most likely be fouled. Make both free throws, and the achievement will unlock. If you don't make both, just take another jump shot and try again.

Free Throws are what players shoot when they are fouled or once a team gets over the penalty, which means they fouled to many time during the game.
To make this achievement easier set the Quarter Length to 2 minutes before starting the game. Now once the game starts try to keep the game to within 10 and make sure you are winning. If you get to a lead over 10 points the CPU will not foul you. So make sure your lead is under 10 points.
Now once they foul you, you will get either a 1-and-1 or 2 shots. If you get a 1-and-1 make sure you make the first Free Throw as if you don't then you don't shoot the 2nd Free Throw.
