How to unlock the Well Rounded Player achievement in NBA LIVE 09 - Definitive Guide

Okay, so I was able to get 3 achievements in one game. BAP MVP, this one, and Created A Monster all in one shot.

First off, create your own character. I created a PF/SF because a lot of teams don't have a good one of both of those, so your chances are better. You can base him off of Lebron or Kobe Bryant to make your life a little easier. Then make him 99's in everything (this'll help you get your 60 points). Set the shooting, dunking and styles to whatever you chose, they really don't matter. It was really easy to add my created player to the Celtics. Then just sub out either the SF or PF. Keep Ray Allen in as SG, and whoever you want in as PG. Then set Kevin Garnett as the Center, take over his PF position.

Now go and start a BAP mode, select your created guy, and before you start the game, lets set some sliders. It was easier for me to just set all of the user sliders all the way to the right, and I set all the CPU's to about 25% (they were at about 50% when you start). This'll make sure that the game will be easy enough for you, but not too easy. Also, set the difficulty to easy, since that setting doesn't matter.

And to make matters easiest, I set quarter time to 10 mins. Realistically you can do it faster, but this is just in case.

Start the game, and once you're in the game, call for the ball with A, and the just shoot up a bunch of 3's from pretty much anywhere. Do this until you get your 60 points (it took me about 2 1/2 quarters).

Every time you're on defense you need to guard your guy so that you keep your BAP score above 80, but nailing 3's just solidifies this. Stay close to the basket (which is easy since you're a PF), and when they shoot and miss, hit Y to go up for a rebound. Make sure that you get at least 10 rebounds. (Not too hard. I ended the game with about 15)

Once you have your 60 points, you can start going for assists. Dish the rock to an open man, and quickly hit B if they're not in close or X if they are, and you'll have you 10 assists in no time.

Make sure that you keep your BAP rating above 80, if you're worried, just hit a few baskets or 3's and it'll go right back up. Don't worry though, you gain points for offensive rebounds, assists, steals, among others. So this is easy to keep.

There you have it, BAP MVP, Well Rounded Player, and Created A Monster, all in one shot. I honestly can't remember how long it took me to complete this. I'd say a good 2 hours with creating a player.

A Triple-Double is when your player gets more than 10 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds/steals/or blocks. To me the three that are easier to get are 10 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds.

On the "Main Menu">"Game Modes">"Be A Pro". Pick the Celtics and play as Kevin Garnett(Power Forward or PF). He is by far one of the best players in the game. Now try to get 10 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds. Set the difficulty to Rookie to make the game easier and play against Angola, they are one of the FIBA teams. They are the worst team in the game. You should easily get a Triple-Double. If you think you will have troulbe getting a Triple-Double set the Quarter Length to either 10 or 12 Minutes.

If you dont know what a 'Triple Double' is, it means you have three of your stats in double digit figures.

Like: 20 Points 13 Rebounds and 10 Assist

A Triple Double can be obtained from any 3 of the stat categories: Points, Rebounds, Assist, Blocks or/and Steals.

Now if you really need to you can change the time limit of the quarters to 12 minutes so there is plenty of time. Change the difficulty too if necesary and then choose a good team or at least a team with 2 or 3 decent players. Choose a bad team for the CPU and then play away!

Easiest option would be to go for Points Rebounds and Assist, simply because you can just score on one end with your big man and rebound on the other side with the same guy! Then when you have enough points, start dishing out assist with the same player. I would recommend using a player like Kevin Garnett (Celtics) or Tim Duncan (Spurs).
