How to unlock the And 1 achievement in NBA LIVE 10 - Definitive Guide

Change the Foul Sliders all to the right in the settings menu.
Pick LeBron James on The Cleveland Cavs and just charge into the lane trying for a dunk every time you have the ball

Eventually you'll get fouled and still make the shot. Once you do Achievement will pop.

It took forever for me to get this. Do not use turbo when driving the lane. Once I stopped holding on to the right trigger I got fouled 4 times in a row.

This worked after all these years. Didn’t hold RT got it on the fourth time I got fouled.

I also used the above tactic but it took forever to unlock. I noticed that by increasing the difficulty I could draw more contact but when I got fouled I would never make it if I was playing on Superstar difficulty. I went and edited Lebron's stats to be 99 for most offensive categories and then I lowered the difficulty to All-Star. This seemed to reduce the amount of fouls but after a few tries my shot finally went in. The way to get the most opportunities is to practice the tip off timing. If you don't win the tip just quit and rematch. You'll waste more time trying to get a rebound if the other team gets the ball and if your computer teammates foul them you'll have to sit through the foul shots which takes time. Just win the tip, take a step or two toward the bottom of the screen and pass it right to Lebron and drive to the hoop. He will get fouled most of the time and if you don't get fouled just restart and win the tip, pass to Lebron and repeat. No turbo required on your shots, just a tap of the X button near the hoop should be enough.

If you are unsure of what a 'And 1' is. Its basically when a player with the ball is fouled on a shot attempt and he MAKES the shot. If the shot hits or misses the player who was fouled still gets to attempt a free throw, 1 free throw if the shot was made, 2 if the shot was missed. But if fouled on a 3 point shot that misses he gets 3 Free throws.

So to make the front end of an And 1 you basically need to be fouled on a shot attempt and make the shot! It's much easier to unlock this achieve when driving to the basket for a layup or dunk. But it can happen when attempting a normal jump shot but the chances are slimmer.

You get this trophy by being fouled whilst shooting and having the shot go in despite the foul.

Turn the game sliders for fouling all the way up. As you go for a dunk you'll get fouled and make the shot. Can be done on any difficulty and will unlock as soon as you make the shot.
