This trophy may be the 'Plat-breaker' for most, because it is a serious grind. We are given a minimum of 4,500 Live Run hype for wins, 450 for a loss in 3v3 games. 5v5 wins give a very decent 15K for a win but only 1,500 for a loss. Add in that we are only given 2 ways to earn this hype! That is one example of why this trophy is so time consuming. 5v5 games could last up to 45 minutes. 3v3 are to the score of 15. Private matches do not count. You will see your Live Run level in private match screens but you get 0 XP for privates. What you do in games (Points, assists, blocks, steals, rebounds etc. give you additional XP) gets you a bit more XP. In this mode, you will face some very good players, ball hogs, 3-point bombers who seemingly never miss, steal specialists, etc. Your individual skill will be the key. Who you play with is vital as well. I found out from the first Platinum achiever, that just to get to level 20, you are looking at 3 million XP/Hype, and are you sitting down? 500-750 or more Live Run (Red) games. You can try to pair up with a regular crew, or rely on randoms. Live Run Tips - I'm no expert or elite player but I found that you can win 3v3 games with 2 A.I./CPU teammates, since you can command them to pass to you with or shoot with . I haven't really tested 5v5 with 2 or more A.I. teammates. 3v3 games with just 1 A.I. are a little harder to control, as your human teammate will call for passes as well. Just let the A.I. mates do their thing. They will almost always be in the right position. Don't rely too heavily on them for 3-pointers (count as 2 points in this mode), though. Be a smart passer. Get good at icon passing (Hold plus or , the buttons for whichever of the two A.I. you'll pass to). Also, abuse the pick-and-roll, as well as you'll basically be a player/coach. The only downside, is they aren't too great defensively. I have beaten quite a few really good teams that i couldn't beat w/2 humans this way!

Another big tip is if you are going the random route, and are losing a lot, don't hesitate to exit that lobby and join another. You may get paired up with some gifted human players to rack up wins.
