First adjust your settings in the main menu. Set your quarter length to 2 minutes. Turn off shot clock, backcourt violation, and eight-second violation. Turn on accelerated clock and slide game speed to 100. Raise all user sliders related to shooting to 100. Lower all computer sliders involving defense to 0. If you are using two controllers this step wont be necessary. Now play the game and make sure you are down by at least 1 point. A shot to force overtime doesn't count. You can even hold the ball in the backcourt for the first 3 quarters. Then wait until about 2-3 seconds are left in the 4th and shoot a game winning 3 pointer. You must make sure when you start your shot that it hits the small green bar at the top of the shot meter. Also make sure that the defender is away from the shooter to ensure the shot is uncontested. One way to do that is make the 2nd controller play man-to-man defense by hitting down on the d-pad.

*GLITCH WARNING*

While this achievement is glitched, it is still obtainable. After completing the requirements, load into the 'The League' mode. After this achievement didn't pop where it was supposed to, it will pop unbelievably as the game is loading into The League! This is so far the only known way to get the trophy to unlock.

can confirm. solution works. I had completed the requirements a few times and loaded into the League hoping it would retroactively pop, but nah, you have to do this one after the other immediately.

It didn't work for me either... I shot a three-pointer 2 seconds before the game ends for a 9-8 win, and the shot bar was green of course. Loading The League didn't unlock it. Maybe because of an update? (which would be silly since the achievement is still broken).

Two seconds before might not count as a game-winner. I believe it has to be a buzzer beater. Was there time left after you made the shot?

Oh, I didn't get that it had to be a buzzer beater, I thought that a few seconds left was fine. I did it correctly this time, and the achievement popped as described. Thanks for the help, +1

Spot-on description for me. I followed the criteria, hit the shot, exited to main menu, went to 'The One', then to 'The League' and while it was loading, the achievement popped.

Has anyone gotten this recently? I have completed it 2 times and followed the glitch steps but the achievement still hasn't unlocked for me.

Can confirm hitting clutch green at the end of 4th quarter than going to league still works that's how I got this achievement to.

I found a great tip on how to easily get this achievement. I was Steph Curry and once it was five seconds left in the 4th quarter, I passed to a teammate and they hold the ball for a few seconds. Then, they pass the ball back to Curry which initiates a catch and shoot situation which increases the likelihood of a green release at the buzzer.

You can use 2 controllers for this or try it legit. Legit depends on game situations. I saw a video of reckscollie doing this in a World Tour game! Now that is clutch! With 2 controllers, just make sure you are down by at least 1 point. A shot to force overtime doesn't count. Try to time your release to be around 4 tenths of a second. You must make sure when you start your shot with or , that it hits the small green bar at the top of the shot meter, when whichever button is released. Make sure 3-point success is set to 100% through in game settings and turn off the :24 shot clock. Also make sure that the defender is away from the shooter to ensure the shot is uncontested. One way to do that is make the 2nd controller play man-to-man defense by hitting . If done correctly, the trophy pops right away.

While this trophy is glitched, it is still obtainable. fabiohaifa found out that by going into the 'The League' mode after this trophy didn't pop where it was supposed to, it will pop unbelievably as the game is loading into The League! I can confirm this as I did the same and the trophy popped. This is so far the only known way to get the trophy to unlock.
