Traits are pretty much enhancers. This year, it's a bit different as we are given 3 'loadouts' of 3 traits each. By scrolling with :l1: & :r1:, you can apply them as you gain them. Stick to ones you know you can upgrade by playing and winning games across all modes. Go to 'Upgrades', then 'Traits' and from there you can choose from traits given mainly to your player's specific build. These traits start at bronze but you need to level them up to gold by winning games & doing feats for that trait, like 'Get 50 3-pointers' with the trait equipped etc. Get 3 traits to gold, equip them in the same loadout and the trophy pops right away. You don't have to keep said traits forever, you can swap them out at any time.
