How to unlock the King of the Court achievement in NBA STREET Homecourt - Definitive Guide
You can either
A.legitimately win 10 consecutive games, which is most likely impossible because there is only around 3 people on at any given time, and they are the people who only have one game, cause they have no money, and are amazing at it
or
B. Boost with a friend, just let him beat you ten times, then he'll let you beat him 10 times

do they have to be ranked?

I think they do, but I did this achievement so long ago I don't remember, I do remember however, if you get stuck with someone other than your boosting friend, you can opt out of the game before you start it

This achievement has been discontinued. EA Sports took down the servers 2/2/2010.
FYI, this achievement was previously obtainable in either Ranked or Player matches. Just win 10 games in a row and the achievement pops. Easily boostable via XBL "invite to game".

It's a shame they took this game's servers down -- I actually enjoyed it, far more than any other basketball game I've played.
