In order to perform a Gamebreaker you will need to fill up the the Gamebreaker meter at the top of your screen. This is accomplished by doing tricks prior to making your shot. Tricks are done by pressing either X or Y. If you press Y when close to an opponent you will get a score multiplier. This can be done up to 4 times. Once you have your x4 multiplier just keep doing tricks until the shot clock is almost up then make a shot. If you lose possession at anytime either by having the ball stolen or missing your shot and not getting the rebound none of your points will count. Also the type of shot you make can give you even more points. A double dunk seems to give the most additional points.

It may take you a couple of possessions to get your Gamebreaker bar completely filled, but once you do you will notice the screen changes color a little bit and when you get the ball back a cone of light will appear at halfcourt. To activate your gamebreaker you will need to run into the cone of light and press Y. Now that you are in gamebreaker mode it is possible to get 6 points in a single shot. In order to do that you will need to fill the meter at the top of the screen again the same way you did before and then successfully perform a double dunk, which in gamebreaker mode is actually a triple dunk.

Since you need to win the game with this gamebreaker you should save it until you are just a few points from winning. I recommend saving it until you only need 1 point to win that way you wont need to mess around with doing tricks you will just need to make a shot.

The last thing you need to know is your opponent can steal the ball from you and use your gamebreaker against you so be careful.
