Just wanted to add to the solution above. It is best to stand a few steps back from the hoop and make sure your facing towards it and hit the B button to shoot, and not the X.

Get the ball under the hoop back up a few feet then sink the shot, Repeat 20 times for the achievement.

Campus Hoops is the first thing you do before you play any game. You will be Kevin Love and will be on a basketball court shooting around. I got this achievement with ease. Grab a basketball and then get close up to the goal and hit 
to shoot the ball. Now since you are so close to the goal you should be able to make 20 shots in a row without a problem. Just make sure you are not too far under the goal.
