How to unlock the 40-Minute All-American achievement in NCAA Basketball 10 - Definitive Guide

If you don't care to do this legit, you can follow these steps and it should ease the difficulty.

Adjust the sliders all user sliders up all cpu down.

For the rules turn the shot clock off,8 seconds in the back court,3 seconds in the key basically all time based rules.(DO NOT TURN OFF OUT OF BOUNDS)

Now load up a game on All-American 20 minute half's.

Get tip-off or just steal it if they do and hold it in till a few seconds before the end of the half.Now quickly score, putting you up going into the second half.

Get the ball once again and hold in till the end of game.They may foul at the end just make the free throws and no worries.

Thanks for this, I had out of bounds turned off and the achievement wouldn't pop for me. Good stuff.

Easily done with 2 controllers, just turn off the shot clock, score, and let the time run down, OR go for the Leathal Weapon Three achievement at the same time.

I can do this one, just haven't yet because I don't have an hour of free time doing nothing...

a) Go to Play Now and set up a game of 20 minute halves and All-American difficulty.

b) Turn all the rules of and put you long range shooting and steals up to 100, and if you want, put all the CPU's shooting the 0.

c) Get a 5 point lead and then just sit your guy at half, and then watch TV or something.

d) Go back and check to see if you can start 2nd half, if you can start it, since you have a 5 point lead, it doesn't matter if they score.

e) Once you have the ball back, camp at center and watch TV, but eventually they will come to foul you, so go back to play your game!

f) If you don't wanna shoot free throw just pass it up the court and jack a 3!

g) Once game ends, achievement is yours!!!!!!

For this trophy you first need to play as a C or lower ranked team. I picked Pacific out of the Big West conference. For your opponent you need an A ranked team and I picked Kansas out of Big 12 conference. After you select your team jersey, you will be taken to the team hub page. Do not select tip off yet, instead select gameplay settings. Change half length to 20 minutes and difficulty to All-American then hit and select tip off to play.


During the game as you are playing as the weaker team, select three players and have them score 20 points each to get "Lethal Weapon Three." After you get three players with 20 points, just hold the ball in the back court till time runs out.


When the game is over you will receive "Lethal Weapon Three", "Upset City", and "40-Minute All-American."

You must win a Play Now game set to the highest difficulty, All-American. Make sure you change the half times to 20 minutes. This may be challenging depending on your skill level. Just use a premier team against a poorly rated team and you should be able to pull out the win.
