I picked unc to do this achievement, but any 5 star school should work. Simulate the first season of dynasty to the offseason. After the mcdonalds all american game, you should see something on the calender that looks almost like binoculars. On the first Monday, look at all the top 100 players and sort by interest level in your school. Look for the players that have the mcdonalds symbol in the upper right hand corner, target them and select all the possible things you can (email prospect, watch highlights, etc...). If you pick prospects with a high or medium interest level this will help. Simulate to the next Monday and offer all remaining prospects a scholarship. Have a head coach visit them if you have available points. Simulate to the next Monday and the achievement should pop if you sign one. I started with 8 prospects and had 4 signed by the third week

This one takes some work and you can unlock this trophy when going for "Hardcore" as I was able to unlock this trophy in year 2 during my dynasty with Long Beach State. If you want it quicker you can start a new dynasty with an "A" team like North Carolina or Kansas.

From the dynasty main menu hit START> RECRUITING > RECRUITING DATABASE. Now you will be looking for a player that is 5 star and by their name they have the McDonald's logo colored a bright red with a golden arch. Try to find one that has a bit of interest in your school. Then click on that recruit and send them a letter of interest. YOU HAVE TO SEND A LETTER OF INTEREST TO ANY RECRUIT TO OFFER A SCHOLARSHIP. Then just bombard the recruit with visits and calls till the recruit verbally commits to your school. Then during off-season mode, you begin with a week for signing recruits. Select the first available signing day, and sign your recruit to a scholarship and the trophy will appear after the recruit is signed.

You need to sign a prized recruit in Dynasty Mode. If you are playing alone, you are the lead profile. If 2 people are playing, locally, the lead profile is the controller who started Dynasty Mode. When you go into recruiting, there are several icons for the highlighted recruit in the upper right corner of the screen. The first one of these is the McDonald's emblem. You need to sign one of these players with the McDonald's emblem lit up to your school. I used Kentucky and signed my first McDonald's All-American during the first off-season. Only go after recruits that are already interested in your school. As long as you are using one of the premier schools (Kentucky, Kansas, Syracuse, Duke, Villanova, West Virginia, Georgetown, or any other ranked team) you should have no trouble signing one.
The achievement will unlock during the off-season, when you actually sign the player. Until then, it is just a verbal commitment.
