How to unlock the #1 Defense achievement in NCAA Football 07 - Definitive Guide

The easiest way to get this is to start a new dynasty and pick as many highly ranked teams as you can. Simulate the season and there is a 90% chance this will unlock along with #1 Offense.

The rankings are based off yards allowed. Pick a Top team like Michigan or Ohio State, then sim a week. Make sure you are the top in defense by checking the standings somewhere in the stats page. If you are, save, then rinse and repeat for the whole season.

If you are looking to play a specific team and not sim the game. Change the settings and shut offsides OFF. Now every game you can play one of your linebackers and move him right next to the other teams quarterback. As soon as the ball is snapped you can sack the QB. Be careful not to touch any of their players before the ball is snapped though.

Only do this if you don't care about gameplay. Besides, it's fun as hell to rock the quarterbacks and punters every time, but you don't get to make open field tackles or interceptions.
