How to unlock the 500 Total Yards achievement in NCAA Football 07 - Definitive Guide

Either do this rushing or passing but the best trick is when you are punted or kicked the ball run backwards to <1 (your one yard line). This doesn't count against you as total yards is based off of running and passing only, and this way you'll earn a good 90+ each drive.

Whatever happens, I follow everybody's fucking guides, delete save files, and everything, this POS achievement still won't pop.

I was having the same problems until I did some research. The problem in my case was that I had an adjusted roster. From my research, it seems that an update was applied at some point that kept achievements such as this, the 200 yards rushing, 350 yards passing achievements, etc from working with an adjusted roster. After I removed the Rosters from my Hard drive and went to the default, I was able to get the achievements.

Some tips I can give is use a good team against a bad team, such as using Ohio State vs San Jose State. I also found that adjusting the sliders didn't stop the achievements. I adjusted the slider so that I could go offsides and sack the opposing QB as soon as the ball was snapped. That helps to keep your offense on the field more to get these achievements. Good luck

Finally got this one after struggling with it for a couple of weeks. Not sure if this will work for everyone, but I deleted all of my files for NCAA 07 along with deleting the system cache on my 360. Then I went into a Play Now game as Ohio State against San Jose State, making sure to turn offside penalties down to 0.

You might also want to make sure you get 500 yards on offense and not just 500 yards total, just to be on the safe side.

Just to clarify I got this achievement with 506 Total Offensive Yards and 436 Total Yards. So it is based on Total Offensive.
