How to unlock the Perfect Game achievement in NCAA Football 08 - Definitive Guide
OMFG!!! If you really want this achievement all I can say is cheat to win. I was trying my hardest not to have to go this route but after multiple tens of attempts with my best being 11/12 TD's I was getting frustrated. So I did a little bit of Roster Re-organization. Changed the difficulty from Varsity to Freshman and then took one of the already lowest ranked defenses (Sorry ULM) and made them even worse just by making all their D players molasses slow. Got it though 50g all mine, finally!

That was hilarious. They were so slow, I could hike the ball before they were even set. Got all three mini games with this set-up.

Its too bad that it took me 30 minutes to set up a 3 minute achievement, but yeah it was funny cause it looked like the game was glitching slow!

Play on the freshman setting.
Play to your strengths on this one. If you're more comfortable throwing the ball then do that. I personally am better at running the ball and finally got the achievement by running the power option.
If this one gives you a lot of trouble you can change the abilities of the team you're going to use and the one you're going to be playing against.

I definitely like the power option. I was using the speed option, but I did it first try on power option only. I had to run back once or twice, use a few well-timed dives or spins, but I got it.

Start a mini-game of Bowling using a strong team (like Ohio State) against a weak one (like San Jose State) on the easiest difficulty. You can adjust the sliders if you need to boost your offensive ability and decrease the defensive ability of your opposition.
I found using passing plays worked best, as on the easiest difficulty the receivers appear to "snap" more toward where the ball is thrown. Slant routes and post routes gave me the most success.
If you fail to score on a play, you'll need to restart. A perfect game requires 12 straight touchdowns.

Play on Freshman, put sliders in your favor, go against a C- ranked defense. Edit your quarterback so that he has 99 speed, acceleration, break tackle, etc. Run a pass play each time, and only throw it if your receiver is 100% wide open. Otherwise, hold the right trigger and scramble around as much as you need - go backwards if you need to - and run the ball in with him every time. This is how I got the achievement in 07 and 08.
Use West Virginia on Freshman difficultly and play against ULM. Literally just use a power option every play with Pat White (QB #5) and run around their defense. Took me a few tries but the first time I did it I got to the 10th play, then I go to the 9th play, and then I got it.
The easiest way I found to do this was choose a team with a fast QB (I used Virginia because that was the first I found, at 82), then choose a bad team to play against (I chose Nevada). Use the play "Power Option" and keep flopping the play from left to right. Run that 12 times and score each time to get 300.
