Pipeline Achievement

This achievement is much easier to get on its own rather than with the Mr. February one because you can recruit even 3* or 2* players without it affecting you. This is the easiest way I found to do this without having to redo it over and over again.

First off, select an SEC school with 6* like Florida or Alabama. Then, view the map to see what states are pipelines and which are not. For Florida, Alabama is best so you have to recruit players from Alabama since it isn’t a pipeline state. Next, during pre-season recruiting, under the recruiting strategy option, turn off only the first option which lets the computer manage your recruiting board. Keep the other 2 options on. Then, go to all prospects option and press the RT down and select Alabama. Select as many recruits as you want with a green orb next to their name.

Don’t mess with the schedule or anything. Advance to the start of the season and SAVE. Instead of simming the whole season, advance week by week. Save after every week unless you lose. If you lose, quit, reload, and continue. This is really easy with Florida because they almost go undefeated all the time in the first year. Make sure you keep checking in on the recruiting board every now and then to make sure you still have at least 6 or more players still uncommitted to a school. Anyways, sim to the end, win the championship and SAVE.

Then, advance past all of the recruiting weeks and then see who you got to commit. If you got at least 5 of the players from the state you want as your pipeline, then you are done. However, the achievement doesn’t pop up until you start the next season. Additionally, I would not save until the achievement pops up so that you can make sure you get it. I haven’t ever had a problem with it not popping up if I recruited 5 players from a non-pipeline state so I wouldn’t expect it to happen. Anyways, there you have it, I hope it helps.

Comments in the solutions from NCAA Football 2011 mentioned not accepting a contract extension. Almost like the extension is treated as a new coaching stint and your recruiting from prior doesn't carry through.

This acievement is awfully easy it just requires alot of time and effort. My suggestion is to use UF and win the bs the season you play with them. The idea is to target as many players as you can from one state. I Chose PA because theres multiple propects to choose from. And the last bit of advice is to go for the lower calibur players like 1-3 and offer them scholarships and find out everything about them and also make them promises.

When you're in the Recruiting menu, select Recruiting Map and you'll see towards the bottom of the screen the list of states that are your pipeline states. To develop a new one, pick a neighboring state (for example, if you're playing as Texas, choose Louisiana, Oklahoma, or New Mexico) and recruit every player in that state. The more players you get from that state, the better chance you have of turning it into a pipeline state. This may take more than one season of recruiting.

Info from 3rdamention:
To develop a new Pipeline State I think you need to lure a total of 5 recruits from a non Pipeline state. This doesn't have to be in the same season, just over time IIRC from the past few years.

Note: Because it's EA, you have the option of purchasing an unlock code to select a new pipeline state. I'm not sure if buying this unlock will unlock this trophy.
