How to unlock the You Got A Reciept For That? achievement in NCAA Football 10 - Definitive Guide

For this achievement, it would be easier if you return a kickoff back for a touchdown .A kickoff occurs at the beginning of each game, at the beginning of the second half, after a successful field goal, and after a touchdown.

To make this achievement easier, you want to max the stats of your kick returner (you can do this by going to edit team and then edit player). The most important stats to max out will be speed, acceleration, and agility. It is also useful to max spin and juke in case a defender comes close to you.

You should also go into options and edit the “user” and “CPU” sliders. Maxing out the sliders for the “user” and lowering all of the “CPU” sliders will also help if you are having difficulty. Also, make sure to play on “recruit.”

If you want to be very safe, you can lower the players on your opponents team so that they are very slow and cannot tackle you. In addition, you can edit your teammates blocking, but these edits should be unnecessary.

When you are going to return a kick make sure to select “Return Middle.” In this play, you only have one kick returner. This gives you an extra blocker. When you return the kick, you should act like you are going toward the middle, when you see the two or three players on the outside run toward the middle of the field, you want to cut outside and run straight up the sideline.

Alternatively, if you have two controllers, you can run a kickoff back while making defenders miss with the second controller. (co-op is excluded, not versus)

Whether you try this on a punt or a kickoff, don't try to go up the middle of the field. Stay along either of the sidelines. Try to find yourself a gap. You can do this on Freshman or Varsity to make it easier.
