How to unlock the Don't Call It a Comeback achievement in NCAA Football 11 - Definitive Guide

This Achievement is attainable in dynasty mode.....play through a whole season with the crimson tide (alabama) and have a solid year with your running back #22.......you will also get the heisman trophy if you have a realy good year...and since he is a junior and has an overall of 99...go on a 60 minuite call with him and he will stay...this option is at the end of dynasty in the beginning of the off season =) any question shoot me a message

Maybe because players like AJ green are going to be high on the NFLdraft board, thats why you couldnt get him to committ.

I had to call #22 3 times to get him to stay.

I guess this one depends on the player. I tried like 12 times to get AJ Green to come back, then the next season I had a DT with a 95 rating and got him on the first try. Go figure.

Also, you can call the same guy multiple times. I called a player and he said he hadn't decided, so I selected a 2nd 60 minute call and then he decided to stay. Point is, don't give up after 1 60 minute call. By coincidence, I got the cheev from Bama RB #22 also.

Make sure you have a 95+ player on your team. A player that chooses to stay anyway will not count toward this achievement. You have to actually call the player to unlock it.

If you're looking for this achievement, you're probably also looking for a number of others. You can get a number of achievements in one Dynasty season if you're careful and remember a very important tip:

TURN OFF THE AUTOSAVE. You can find this setting by going into "My NCAA" and then "System Settings". Trust me... this will save you heartache later, but you need to remember to manually save as you play. (To quicksave, click your left thumbstick in any menu.)

If you call the player and he turns you down, reload. You may get it the next time.

Right when the offseason starts it will say players are leaving. If you have someone with a overall of 95 or higher, they will most likely get drafted by the Pros. Unless they are graduating, you can call them. Call and talk for 60 minutes. After that he will say "alright I will stay" or he will say "I won't go to the Pros."

Choose a team (I used Alabama) and make a LOT of the older players 95 or higher. Now with a bunch of players 95 or higher, you can sim through the season and will at least have a decent record. When you go to the players leaving section of the offseason, there should be several players wanting to go into the Pro Draft. Just spend 60 minutes on each one until you get one to stay. If you want the achievement bad enough, you can purchase the Coaching Seminar time saver with 160 Microsoft points to make it easier.
