How to unlock the Point Some Fingers achievement in NCAA Football 11 - Definitive Guide
To get this achievement you have to compare your school to another school that the prospect is considering. To get 250 points, there has to be a pretty big difference in how good your school is to how bad the other one is.
Really any team that has an amazing school will work, such as Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, or Ohio State. Then just search through the 1 star prospects and find one that is looking at going to a really bad school, such as UAB, or FIU. If a subject comes up that either they have a better grade in, just change the subject to something else.
Personally, I got this by comparing Alabama to FIU. It might take a few tries considering that some prospects just don't care that much about which school they go to.

Great solution and worked great but I would add that you should pick to do 6 topics (60 minutes) on your call and then compare the schools like you said above to get this achievement very fast. Thanks again!

This solution doesn't work at all.

"Play as a school that has A or better ratings in every category, or create one with A+ ratings using team builder. Once your season starts, go to the recruiting board and find a One star prospect that has lower rated schools as his top schools. These schools should have C or worse ratings in most categories, making it very easy to downplay them." (Credit to Major-Dutch-_ for finding this method)
"While I was going for Program Changer, some of the 5-star peeps I was targeting signed with other teams early, which left me with some time for extra recruiting. I picked the next guy on the list (a 4-star recruit which had my school as his first choice) and started comparing my school to the very last one on his list: number 10, which was Tulane. After comparing, for 6 questions, my school to Tulane's, I got the trophy since I docked them by over 300 points." (Credit to OldSnoova for this method)

Set recruiting to Freshman. Go into recruiting with a good team, such as Alabama or Texas, and find a prospect that has a very bad school as the one you will be competing against. I downplayed against Tulane when I got it. Choose to call for 6 topics. Make sure the pitch topic is good for your school and bad for theirs. If not, use one of your 3 switches. When you find one that is good (A or A+) for your school and bad for theirs (C+ or lower), compare the schools. By using a school with poor rankings, you should get about 270 points on 6 topics. You will probably need to look for 2 or 3 star recruits for this.
