I had some Microsoft points to spend that I had gotten from their rewards program and for 80 MS pts. I was able to purchase a 5 star caliber pack. So if you've got the points to spend this is the easiest way, and you can sim your entire season. Although you won't be offered many if any at all scholarships (because you didn't play the season), because of you being a 5 star prospect you'll be able to walk-on to the college you want to go to.
If you have another 80 MS pts. you're willing to spend you can also purchase a 5 star pack for the defensive side, granted your first was for offense that way you'll be able to also get the achievement for being a 5 star prospect on both sides of the ball.

While playing through your high school season, you will improve as a prospect. Play well enough to be a 5 star prospect by the end of your season and the trophy will pop when your season is completed. If you’re playing as a QB, you should be able to simulate all of your games and still achieve the trophy.
