When you go to start your dynasty it will let you edit the bowl games, change any bowl game to a non-bcs conferance i.e. sun belt or mountain west, back out of the screen and it pops, you can then change it back if you wish.

good tip. didn't work the first time then i noticed you have to HIT A TO ACCEPT. my fault lol

See step 3 in the Road Map for the fastest way to obtain this trophy.

When creating a dynasty, go to Custom Conferences, select Conference Rules, press to bring up BCS Bowls and select one of the Automatic Qualifiers. For Conference, choose a non-BCS conference (MAC or MWC) and select any of the bowls.

Before actually starting a new dynasty, you will be able to edit your dynasty. Select the BCS Bowl Tie-Ins option, select an open slot, and choose a conference and select "Any" bowl.
